Q. What grade levels are appropriate for the magazine?
A. The magazine is written for upper elementary/middle school students (ideally suited for grades 5-7 but may be used for ages 8-14).
Q. When will I receive my first issue?
A. You will receive your first issue before October 31.
Q. When is the best time to order?
A. You may order until the end of February to receive the current year's subscriptions. Orders received after March 1st, will be processed for the following school year.
Q. Do lesson plans come with the magazine?
A. Every issue comes with downloadable reading comprehension questions available from the Lesson Plans section of this website. You will also find other ideas for using the magazine.
Q. What is our Audio Lab?
A. Every issue of
Kids Avenue
will have a short story and/or selected articles that are supplemented with interactive audio/visual material from our Audio Lab section. Our Audio Lab is intended for individual work, small group or for entire classes using a computer lab.
Q. Can you send our school an invoice?
A. We can send your school an invoice for the order if it is in the
U.S.
or
Canada
. However, subscriptions will not be sent until full payment has been received. To request an invoice, simply print out the School Order Form and fax it or mail it along with a purchase order, if your school requires one.
Q. How do we pay from a country outside the U.S.?
A. We prefer you use a credit card. If you are ordering more than ten subscriptions, and this is not possible, please contact us to make arrangements.
Q. What is your guarantee?
A. If for any reason you are not happy with your subscription, you may cancel up to 30 days after you receive your first issue for the full amount of your money back.
